The Plant Variety Protection Act, 7 U.S.C. §§ 2321-2583 is codified in Chapter 57 under Title 7 of the U.S. Code (7 U.S.C.), and includes Sections 2321-2583. This consolidated version of the Plant Variety Protection Act takes into account amendments up to the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (Pub. L. 115–334). The said amending Public Law No. 115-334 introduced amendments to sections 41(a), 42(a), 111(a)(3), 128(a) of the Plant Variety Protection Act (PVPA), which are codified in the following sections in Chapter 57 "Plant Variety Protection" under Title 7 "Agriculture" of the U.S. Code (7 U.S.C.), by adding a definition for the term “asexually reproduced” as it pertains to plant propagation: - Section 2401(a) and 2402 (a) under Part D, Sub-chapter II; - Sections 2541(a)(3) and 2568(a) under Part K and Part L, Sub-chapter III.
